The Performance Management Group recently announced plans to upgrade its management training boot camp to include team leadership, metrics and scorecard training. “Technical companies that have promoted new managers because of their technical skills find their new leaders lacking the requisite fundamentals and people skills to be successful,” says Gerald Taylor, TMPG president and managing consultant. “Managers and supervisors in labor-intensive environments, like call centers, also find themselves challenged. Our management boot camp provides them an intensive crash course in the essential skills and fundamental practices to become successful modern managers.”
Along with the new leadership, metrics and scorecarding options, the boot camp will still include “manager as coach” and “management by fact” training. For more information, visit www.helpingmakeithappen.com.
