(The W. Edwards Deming Institute: Washington) -- The W. Edwards Deming Institute is seeking research papers or ideas that link the work of W. Edwards Deming to academic literature, works of other great thinkers, or show examples of Deming's theories applied in business, for a February conference in New York.

The 16th Annual International Deming Research Seminar will bring together people from around the world, and from a variety of specialties, to enhance and extend Dr. Deming's theories.

Papers must be original work. Abstracts of 200 words or less should be sent by Nov. 20, 2009, to wedresearch@fordham.edu or mailed to:
