(NIST: Gaithersburg, MD) -- On Thursday, July 21, 2011, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) will host a webinar, “Documenting Traceability and Calibration Intervals.” Georgia Harris, of NIST’s Weights and Measures Division (WMD), will lead the webinar. At the end of (or during) this session, using your notes and ISO/IEC 17025 or NIST HB 143, you will be able to:
• Describe the essential components that are required to support metrological
traceability
• Explain traceability in simple terms to anyone—even someone not familiar with metrology
