The 60th anniversary World Conference on Quality and Improvement, one of the largest gatherings of quality professionals, will be held May 1–3 at the Midwest Airlines Center in Milwaukee. The event will feature dozens of networking sessions and breakout groups with topics such as “The Impact of Six Sigma on the Quality Movement, for Better or Worse,” “Developing Your Process-Based Management System,” and “Today’s Manufacturer: Remaining Competitive in a Global Environment.”
The American Society for Quality is organizing the three-day conference. One of the highlights of the event is the opportunity for attendees to choose from one of 14 ASQ certifications that will be offered during only one of the days.
The event will also include the International Team Excellence Competition, in which teams from companies all over the world compete to solve an internal problem with the goal of obtaining the best results, as judged by a panel of quality experts. Entries for the competition are due by Dec. 19.
