American Express executives head up the speaker roster at the third annual Six Sigma in Financial Services Conference. The conference will be held May 10–12 at the New York Marriott Eastside. Karim Houry and Rick Irving, American Express vice presidents of global reengineering, will deliver a keynote address called “Partnerships for Progress,” which will discuss how their corporate deployment team has partnered with key business units to drive Six Sigma throughout the organization. Six Sigma has delivered approximately one billion dollars in annual benefits since its launch at American Express in 1999.
Other speakers include Peter Carlivati, American Bankers Association director of educational relations and quality standards; John J. Colangelo, The Depository Trust and Clearing Corp. operations managing director; and Mike Cook, Fidelity Investments vice president of operational excellence, among others.
