The American Society for Quality will host a Six Sigma conference Feb. 7-8 in Palm Springs, California.The conference, titled “The Evolution of Excellence,” will feature keynote addresses from Eric D. Mattenson, Quest Diagnostics vice president for Six Sigma; and James P. Zimmerman, Kepner-Tregoe Inc. partner and senior consultant. Zimmerman’s presentation is titled “Six Sigma: Avoiding the Seven Deadly Sins.”
The conference will provide an historic overview of quality and Six Sigma’s growing importance to business. It’ll also feature case studies from companies such as Packard/Compaq, Northwest Airlines and DaimlerChrysler.
