The Global Six Sigma Awards will be presented on June 28, 2006, at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Scheduled to coincide with the Global SixSigma Summit, the awards will honor Six Sigma’s best achievements and leading practitioners.Entries for 12 different awards (10 organizational awards and two individual awards) must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24. An all-star panel of Six Sigma experts will judge the entries in categories ranging from best achievement in manufacturing to Six Sigma CEO of the year.

The Global Six Sigma Summit will be the world’s largest gathering of Six Sigma professionals, experts and visionaries. Keynote addresses will be delivered by Malcolm Gladwell, author of best-sellers The Tipping Point (Little, Brown, 2002) and Blink (Little, Brown, 2005), Subir Chowdhury, author of The Power of Six Sigma (Dearborn Trade, 2001) and the recent The Ice Cream Maker (Currency, 2005), and Joseph Grenny, best-selling author and business-communication guru.
