Cummins Inc. will highlight a selection of its best Six Sigma projects at an upcoming expo that will be held May 8 in Columbus, Indiana.
The Six Sigma Project Expo is an opportunity for employees—and the public—to get an inside look at how Cummins’ employees are pushing for process and performance improvements, says Staci York, chairman of the expo. Project leaders and team members submitted dozens of projects for consideration to be included in the expo, and Cummins executives chose the top 40 to highlight at the event. The winning projects have also been awarded with the Chairman’s Six Sigma Quality Award.“This is a great opportunity for us to show how much we use Six Sigma, and how much it’s improved our company,” says York. “It’s always a fun event.”
