EMS Consulting Group Inc. will host a public lean manufacturing certificate program in San Diego this fall.  The program includes six course modules designed to provide participants with targeted managerial and technical competencies in lean manufacturing. Participants will learn how to apply value stream mapping, lean production control and inventory management, one-piece flow, cellular manufacturing, material flow and kanban, 5S, and kaizen events and tools. The certification also includes the completion of lean manufacturing projects and attendee companies to reinforce classroom learning.

The program will take place at the Grand Pacific Palisades Hotel in Carlsbad, California, in seven Wednesday sessions that run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The training sessions may also be taken separately.
