An upcoming conference sponsored by the International Society of Six Sigma Professionals and Raytheon Co. will examine the many ways Six Sigma can be used to improve business processes.Six Sigma practitioners from such major companies as Dow Chemical, Seagate Technologies, Johnson & Johnson, Bank of America, 3M and Honeywell are expected to attend the conference, which will be held Jan. 10–12 at the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Marriott in Irving, Texas. The keynote speaker will be Greg Shelton, vice president for engineering, technology, manufacturing and quality, Raytheon Co.
There will be more than eight educational workshops, several general sessions examining different Six Sigma deployment strategies, upward of 20 project applications and case studies, several round-table and panel discussions, and a Six Sigma knowledge competition at the conference. In addition, Don Ronchi, Raytheon Co. Six Sigma vice president, will speak at a banquet and recognition ceremony.
