Conference-planning company IXPERION is planning two major Six Sigma conferences for this spring. The 5th annual Six Sigma for Financial Services Summit will be held March 7–8 in New York City. The conference will feature presentations by Six Sigma users in the financial sector and two streams—discovery and technical—to customize attendees’ experiences, and includes a complimentary three-course networking dinner at a restaurant in Manhattan. The conference will also include case studies from Deutsche Asset Management, which will reveal how it used Six Sigma to optimize its outsourced processes; Bank of America Corp., which will demonstrate how to select and prioritize Six Sigma projects; GE Corporate Payment Services, which will share advice on optimizing purchasing-card programs; Standard Register Co., which will address Six Sigma’s use to improve customer loyalty; and Netbank Inc., which will discuss how to avoid implementation pitfalls.
