The Juran Institute recently moved its headquarters from Wilton, Connecticut, to Southbury, Connecticut. The Juran Institute, founded in 1979 by Dr. Joseph M. Juran, also has offices in Spain, The Netherlands and Canada.
Juran established many of the fundamentals on which quality processes, such as Six Sigma, are based, and he is considered the patriarch of the quality industry. Juran, the Institute’s chairman emeritus, will be 100 this month. He was named by Business Week magazine as one of the greatest innovators of the past 75 years.
