Lean Six Sigma is a business methodology that teaches organizations a new way to think about what is done every day. The tools can be used in organizations to eliminate waste, reduce variation in processes, and eliminate defects.
It is a purposeful elimination of wasteful activities and can be deployed in every aspect of any organization. Lean Six Sigma includes a set of statistical tools to give practitioners data to make sound business decisions.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training and Certification—Health Care and Service Concentration will be held at the University Center, 6000 Frank Ave. NW, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day on the following dates: Sept. 20–24, Oct. 18–22, Nov. 1–5, Dec. 6–10.
