An upcoming seminar will focus on the complementary use of lean, Six Sigma and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements to maintain compliance and improve performance. “Benefiting from Sarbanes-Oxley Requirements Through Beyond Lean Six Sigma Techniques,” will be held July 19 in Chicago. It’s designed for vice presidents, directors and managers in the areas of internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, accounting, finance and control, and corporate compliance. Forrest Breyfogle, president and CEO of Smarter Solutions Inc., will be the facilitator.

Breyfogle is an expert in the areas of lean and Six Sigma, and is the author of Implementing Six Sigma (Wiley 2003) an co-author of Wisdom on the Green (Smarter Solutions 2001) . The seminar will provide implementation examples of lean Six Sigma and Sarbanes-Oxley programs, and address operational cost and risk issues.
