(WCBF: Chicago) -- The winners for all categories and the special awards were announced at the Global Six Sigma & Business Improvement Awards Gala Dinner on Oct. 15, held at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center, in Orlando, Florida.
Mark Pigott, chairman and CEO of PACCAR received the top honor as Six Sigma & Business Improvement CEO of the Year. In his acceptance, Pigott said, “Six Sigma is one of the key ingredients in our success of many other programs that have profitably contributed to the growth of PACCAR.”
BMO Financial Group collected three accolades at the ceremony. They were awarded the Platinum Award for Organizational Business Improvement as well the award for Best Achievement of Organizational Business Improvement in Financial Services. Richard Lam of BMO was also awarded the Business Improvement Deployment Leader of the Year Award.
Honors were also awarded to 11 other U.S., Canadian, and East Indian organizations for adopting and deployment lean Six Sigma and business improvement processes to achieve significant organizational improvements.
