The Turkish Society for Quality (KalDer) held its 15th Annual Quality Congress in Istanbul, Turkey, in late November.
More than 2,200 quality professionals attended the three-day event, including Grace Duffy, vice president of the American Society for Quality. The conference featured the International Quality Organizations and Professionals Summit, a leadership forum, two keynote sessions and a quality and management systems fair. Duffy presented ASQ’s 2005 Futures Study to the approximately 500 attendees of the summit, which included attendees from all over the world.Panel topics included “Is Quality an Out of Fashion Concept?” and “Management Leadership Development for Quality Professionals.” The conference also served as an ASQ World Partners event; delegates hailed from Brazil, Ireland, Germany, Israel, Japan, Singapore, Canada and the United States.
