(Zontec Inc.: Cincinnati) -- Zontec Inc. has announced 10 new features for its Synergy 1000T v. 7.0 statistical process control (SPC) software that is due for general release Dec. 1.

Synergy 1000 is designed for quality improvement on stand-alone PCs and local work-group computers. The application runs on WindowsR XP, Windows VistaT, and Windows 7 operating systems.

The new release includes easier setup for part, process, and SPC characteristic files, traceability tags, assignable cause, and corrective action notes. Version 7.0 also includes enhancements to the intercharacteristic math calculator, control limit calculations, and control trend-test alarm settings. A new “hyperlink file” feature enables users one-click access to frequently accessed documents, reference materials, visual aids, other software applications, and web pages while running their process.
