(9001Academy: Zagreb, Croatia) -- The experts at 9001Academy have produced a matrix to help address some of the questions and confusion stemming from the soon-to-be-released ISO 9001:2015 update to the ISO 9001:2008 quality management systems standard. The matrix can be downloaded in PDF form here.

9001Academy has attempted to address some of the more pressing concerns, such as the new section 4.3 that was related to the 4.2.2 Quality Manual section in the previous ISO 9001 standard. In ISO 9001:2015 the quality manual is no longer mandatory; however, the requirement for determining and documenting scope remains.
Additionally, new sections in ISO 9001:2015 are addressed, such as 6.1—Actions to address risks and opportunities. This is a completely new requirement. When planning the QMS, the organization will need to determine the risks and opportunities affecting it.
