(AIAG: Southfield, MI) -- The Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG), a nonprofit, member-supported organization that works with a wide range of manufacturing companies and service providers to help them operate at peak performance, is holding two events, Sept. 27–28, 2011, that are crucial for managers in the automotive and energy sectors. The two-day “Greenhouse Gas and Energy Symposium,” provides basic and advanced training in greenhouse gas calculation methods and energy management. The one-day “International Materials Data System (IMDS) and Product Compliance Summit” addresses legislation affecting the material content of vehicles, such as conflict mineral legislation and other corporate responsibility issues.
