(NIST: Gaithersburg, MD) -- For the first time in its history, the Baldrige Foundation has been accepted in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). The CFC is the official workplace-giving campaign of the federal government. The mission of the CFC is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee-focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.

Each year, federal employees and military service members contribute millions of dollars to charitable organizations through the CFC. This year, the Foundation for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award was listed among the CFC organizations as charity No. 23918–Foundation for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
