The International Organization for Standardization recently selected the members of a jury that will choose winners of a new award for the teaching of standardization in higher education.
The ISO Award for Higher Education in Standardization selection committee is:
- George Arnold, ISO vice president and deputy director for technology services, National Institute of Standards and Technology
- Guillaume Chenevière, Media and Society Foundation director and chairman of the World Radio and Television Council
- Barbara Ischinger, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development director for education
- Guy Sebban, International Chamber of Commerce secretary-general
- Masami Tanaka, Japan Chemical Industry Association director general and vice president of the Japanese Industrial Standards Committee
The award will be presented for the first time in September, at the ISO General Assembly in Geneva. Candidate nominations are due by Feb. 15.
