NSF International Strategic Registrations Ltd. (NSF-ISR) was recently accredited to AS9110 by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB).
The registrar reports it is the first in North America to receive ANAB approval to offer AS9110 registration. The standard incorporates ISO 9001 requirements with aerospace-specific requirements for maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO).
Several airlines currently use federal requirements to approve repair stations, but AS9110 offers comprehensive requirements that can be applied to all levels of the MRO process. In general, AS9110 registration demonstrates that a company’s quality management system consistently meets customer and regulatory requirements.
“This accreditation from ANAB demonstrates NSF-ISR’s commitment to provide clients with the technical expertise and services they need to comply with new regulations,” says Kristin Holt, NSF-ISR president. “NSF-ISR was one of the first registrars accredited to offer registration to AS9100, and now we’re expanding our portfolio of services by becoming the first to provide AS9110 registration under ANAB accreditation.”
