TÜV America recently promoted Derek J. Tremblett to lead its NAFTA region business development efforts. In his new role, he will be responsible for all of TÜV America’s and its subsidiaries’ sales and business development in Canada, the United States and Mexico. Tremblett joined TÜV Canada in August 2004 as its vice president of business development. He holds a business administration degree from St. Clair College.

“Derek has proven himself to be an effective and accomplished communicator and leader throughout the TÜV organization,” says Stefan P. Butz, TÜV America president and CEO. “We’re privileged that he’s a member of the TÜV team and will actively contribute to all of TÜV America.”

TÜV America is a testing/certification organization that provides CE marking assistance, mechanical/electrical product safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), field evaluations, NRTL and SCC certification.
