(IAS: Whittier, CA) -- The International Accreditation Service (IAS) is offering a training course, May 24–26, in Washington, DC, designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard ISO/IEC 17025:2005—“General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.”

Practical examples are used to clarify key learning objectives. Participants will have the opportunity to ask leading experts questions regarding their own laboratory’s quality management system. Those attending the course and completing all course work receive a certificate of attendance. Those also completing and passing the optional written examination will receive a certificate of completion referencing the standard.
