(GBMP: Boston, MA) -- The sixth annual Shingo Prize Northeast Conference is coming Oct. 19–20 at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, Rhode Island.

Ritsuo Shingo (son of Shigeo Shingo and president of Toyota Motor Works China) and  Rhode Island Governor Donald Carcieri will be the keynote speakers.

The event also includes four lean learning tracks suitable for beginning to experienced practitioners, two award luncheons, two virtual plant tours, more than 20 breakout sessions, two half-day intensive workshops, lean best practice simulation and games, and The Community of Lean Lounge, comprised of your peers sharing their lean journey experience.
