(Kinetic Systems: Boston) -- New Mobile Environmental Enclosures have been introduced by Kinetic Systems Inc. These mobile clean rooms provide for dust-free assembly, testing, and research. Approximately eight-foot high, units are equipped with clean room curtains on all four sides. The portable clean rooms feature multispeed blowers on the roof to maintain positive, downward, pressurized airflow, cleaned using HEPA filters.

The enclosures are currently available in three different “footprints”: 3 ft x 6 ft, 4 ft x 8 ft, and 8 ft x 8 ft. In accordance with the customer’s needs, the inside can be configured for a workstation or optical table with electrical outlets, lighting, and computer network connections. Sides are gusseted for added strength, and floor-leveling pads are provided.
