(ASME: New York) -- The 2010 ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE), including 20 discussion tracks on topics ranging from energy to biotechnology, will be held Nov. 12-18, at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Center in British Columbia, Canada.

The congress, the largest annual conference of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), will bring together engineers, scientists, and other professionals from around the world to discuss new research and applications that are shaping the future of engineering. The conference will feature technical sessions covering advancements in aerospace technology, manufacturing, dynamic systems, safety engineering, and transportation, among many other subjects.
Multidisciplinary in format, the international event will also address sustainable development, alternative energy, climate change, and other subjects at the forefront of the international dialogue regarding environmental health and safety.
