Don't have to avoid fear -- do it anyway
I was taking a walk and someone had put a book out on their fence for the taking (talk about change by chance!)-- it was "Feel the Fear . . . and Do It Anyway" by Susan Jeffers. Pretty good book (see my review) -- simple premise -- instead of avoiding fear, just accept that fear is sometimes what one feels in certain situations. But unless it's a life-saving fear (like "fear! step back from the road!") then most of the time one should just accept the fear as just a feeling and, as Jeffers says, do it anyway.
