(Hexagon Metrology: North Kingstown, RI) -- On July 6, 2010, Hexagon AB entered into an agreement to acquire the U.S.-based software provider Intergraph Corp. The completion of the transaction was subject to certain conditions, including clearance from the relevant competent competition authorities and Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). All approvals have now been obtained and other conditions reviewed. The acquisition is expected to be completed on Thursday, Oct. 28. Hexagon will pay a cash purchase price of $2.125 billion for Intergraph on a cash and debt-free basis.
