To help illuminate the role of standards in our everyday lives, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has published the educational piece, “The Power of Standardization.” The document gives the complete A to Z on standards: what they are, who creates them, and why they are so important to our everyday world.

The Power of Standardization helps everyone better understand the standards in the world around them, from product-based standards and building codes to personnel certification standards, and everything in between.
