Its square pixels are ideal for inspection of polished silicon blocks, ingots, wafers, hot glass bottles, and for use on continuous-process lines that apply transparent coatings which can be “seen” in the SWIR spectral region. The innovative square pixel design ensures that the pixel height is sharply defined by a metal mask, providing better uniformity of response and improved measurement accuracy for the object being imaged.
