(PEX: London) -- The Process Excellence Network (PEX), a division of the International Quality & Productivity Center (IQPC), announces the finalists for the 2011 Process Excellence Awards. The prestigious awards have recognized finalists in categories covering program and project success across lean, Six Sigma, and business process management (BPM).

“PEX is proud to once again recognize the best in business process excellence through the 2011 coveted Process Excellence Awards,” says Megan James, awards director, IQPC. “This year we are excited to see the formal addition of the BPM [program], Lean Transformation, and BPM [project] categories. The expansion has been reflected in the breadth of entries and industries entering for this year, demonstrating how many businesses are adapting the process excellence programs in increasingly challenging market situations."

Each year the Process Excellence Awards are judged by a panel of experienced business process improvement executives and practitioners. The rigorous assessment of the award criteria reveal process excellence best practices that form a globally recognized benchmark. The finalists are carefully chosen by hand-selected industry leaders.
