Teaching design of experiments (DOE) to students is not an easy task. It is difficult to simulate the entire effort within the constraints of a classroom. You can teach the analysis with software, but this is not enough to really gain an understanding of DOE. Smarter Solutions Inc. is offering the webinar, “Design of Experiments Out of the Classroom,” which will be presented Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at 2 p.m. EDT. The key activities of a DOE—planning, designing, running, and analyzing—will be presented in an area that viewers will readily understand: improving a chocolate chip cookie. At the end of the webinar, viewers will feel much more comfortable using a DOE, even outside of manufacturing.
