(Hexagon: North Kingstown, RI) -- Hexagon Metrology Inc. and Hendrick Motorsports have announced a multiyear partnership agreement that makes Hexagon Metrology the official provider of dimensional metrology products and services to Hendrick Motorsports.

Hendrick Motorsports, winner of a record 10 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championships, is a longtime user of Hexagon Metrology products for inspection and manufacturing of race car body, chassis, and engine components. The official partnership—the first between the two companies—expands Hendrick Motorsports’ in-house capabilities with multiple additional measuring systems, including ROMER Absolute Arms, GridLok portable measuring arm volume-expansion systems, and Brown & Sharpe coordinate measuring machines.
