(Micro-Epsilon: Raleigh, NC) -- The thermoIMAGER TIM 200 is latest model in infrared (IR) thermography. The camera operates using new bispectral technology, combining two images into one. In this version, both a visual camera and an infrared camera are fitted to the thermoIMAGER housing. The visual camera can synchronously record a real image as well as the IR one. The camera has a measurable temperature range from -20°C to 1,500° C. The special feature of the various TIM models is that a calibrated temperature value is assigned to each recorded pixel, so that no comparative measurement takes place, unlike traditional IR vision cameras.

With the help of software, TIM 200 users can either switch between the pictures from the IR camera and the real image, or have the two images overlaid. This means that the camera can be aligned effortlessly and that temperature-critical areas can be selected when required.
