(STEMMER IMAGING: Puchheim, Germany) -- STEMMER IMAGING will be hosting a 3-D Machine Vision Technology Day Feb, 29, 2012, at Mercedes-Benz World, Weybridge, Surrey, United Kingdom, as part of its European Imaging Academy Program. The full-day event provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of 3-D machine vision technology, the markets, and possible applications.

STEMMER IMAGING’s European Imaging Academy was established in 2011 to provide high-quality, independent information to people in industry looking to use machine vision. Drawing on the experience gained from delivering training courses containing strong technical content, primarily in Germany and the United Kingdom, the academy will now be able to provide industry-leading theoretical and practical training in machine vision across Europe.

The 3-D technology day takes much of its content from a similar event held in Munich in 2011, where more than 110 attendees found the event to be most valuable. Beginning with an overview of the development of 3-D imaging, the event is delivered by leading experts in the field to guarantee interesting presentations as well as providing valuable networking opportunities.
