(SGS: Rutherford, NJ) -- SGS North America has launched the PREP+ Program, which supports SGS clients through the precertification, certification, and post-certification processes for any standard that SGS is accredited to. The program has been created to simplify the implementation process and shorten the time it takes to reach certification. In doing so, the overall cost for certification is lower because most of the expenditure occurs during the preparation period for procedures such as internal resource costs, training staff, and working with third-party consultants.

With the PREP+ Program, clients are able to customize their training and preassessment analysis services from SGS to fill specific gaps in their processes and training. Choosing from a menu of services, clients select only those items that suit their exact needs. Costs are kept to a minimum because of the customized nature of the selection and the fact that all training and gap analysis can be done at the clients’ facilities. This means there are no travel costs, and their staff is able to seamlessly translate their new knowledge into their working day.
