(FARO: Lake Mary, FL) -- FARO Technologies Inc. and Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology LLC announced today they will share adjacent exhibit space and demonstrate a network of shared metrology solutions at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago, Sept. 10-15, 2012. This marks the first time that the leaders in portable and bridge coordinate measuring machines (CMM) have formally exhibited together to demonstrate the multiple ways manufacturers can benefit from a variety of high-precision measurement technologies.

Representatives from both companies will be on hand during a cooperative demonstration panel to be held at 1 p.m. Central on Thursday, September 14.  Attendees are invited to attend the taping of this live event.
