The 100HSX-IR incorporates the many advances of the 100HSX platform with characteristics that are specifically tailored for intermediate range (1–35 m), high-accuracy scanning. The 100HSX-IR brings several significant advances beyond the current Surphaser 25HSX-IR including almost twofold improvement of range noise for a wide range of distance/surface combinations, available onboard controls, and battery power. The 100HSX-IR also provides a substantial advancement in thermal and environmental stability. The exceptionally clean point clouds produced by Surphaser laser scanners enable efficient modeling and provide the best source material for automated modeling and dimensional control applications.
