AST320/W system, dedicated to the testing of windings, coils, and stators of electrical motors in production environments. Leveraging more than 50 years of industry experience backed by extensive research and development efforts, the AST320/W system integrates the e.d.c partial discharge measurement technology which is based on capacitor coupling technology, for both AC high pot and surge tests.

The main advantage of the e.d.c. partial discharge technology, as compared to the more traditional antenna-type solutions, is that the capacitor coupling technique, while offering the same measurement quality, is less sensitive to external noise and, therefore, more suitable for applications in production environments.
