Starrett Co., a global manufacturer of precision measuring tools and gages, and metrology systems invited attendees to try its new Starrett W4900 touchscreen indicator.

The Starrett W4900 is a unique touchscreen wireless digital indicator that’s accurate, fast, intuitive, easy to use, and rugged. Key features include multiple resolution and color settings, digital and analog readouts in the same indicator, seven languages, and wireless output. The W4900 is made in the U.S. with American and globally sourced materials and components.
A bank of W4900 indicators was shown in a variety of configurations, running continuously and taking measurements of a rotating crankshaft. Capable of supporting Industry 4.0, IoT, and the digital factory, all of the W4900 indicators will be integrated with the Starrett DataSure 4.0 Wireless Data Collection System for automated wireless measurement data capture and transmission.
