With a focus on the exchange of data across enterprises using a model-based definition approach, this annual gathering brings together thought leaders and experts from industries such as medical, aerospace, defense, electronics, automotive, industrial equipment, and product development. Organizations of all sizes, from small businesses to major corporations, will be represented, offering a unique opportunity to network, learn, and drive innovation within those sectors.
NIST MBE Summit
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) MBE Summit has brought academia, government, and industry experts together since 2009 to share the challenges, implementation issues, and lessons learned in design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and sustainment of products and processes where a model-based approach is used. This includes all aspects of the product life cycle, including design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and sustainment of products, where a digital 3D model acts as the authoritative source of information.
DMSC QIF Summit
The Digital Metrology Standards Consortium (DMSC) has been gathering people and organizations interested in developing an open standard to facilitate the seamless movement of a model-based definition and manufacturing quality data. The Quality of Information Framework (QIF) 3.0 is a structured way to achieve that objective. Everyone interested in the standard, and those who want to help improve and expand it, will have the opportunity to do so at the summit.
