A new reference guide promises to make implementing complicated business improvement projects significantly easier for DMAIC and Six Sigma team leaders.

Oaktree, an online reference guide developed by Pivotal Resources, offers users access to an extensive data repository containing more than 120 Six Sigma tools via a Web-based interface, allowing them to quickly identify topics and retrieve information relevant to their project needs.

The solution was developed to optimize the efforts of companies using Six Sigma and offers a wide range of features that enhance project management and teamwork. The interface uses “roadmaps” and step-by-step representations that allow users to assess where they are in the DMAIC process. Oaktree’s illustrations and templates provide users with examples, helping them to better understand their project. Tips, instructions and other critical information are available to move their project toward completion.
