Intergraph Corp. recently signed a four-year contract with the U.S. Air Force to deploy and manage operational excellence programs. The contract covers continuous improvement, lean and Six Sigma programs at the Air Force Materiel Command at Warner Robins Air Logistics Center at Robins Air Force Base, in Georgia. Intergraph will guide the Materiel Command in developing effective plans and implementation procedures for ongoing enterprise transformation projects. The company will also provide program administration, study performance, work processes and advices on change management strategies. The contract is worth up to $11.4 million.

The performance improvement effort is part of the U.S. Department of Defense’s mandate that the military undertake operational excellence programs.
