Precision Wire Components LLC, a medical-component manufacturer, recently received registration to ISO 13485:2003. PWC manufactures guide wires for major medical-device makers, and has been registered to quality standards in the ISO 9000 series since 1997, one year after the company was founded. When the more stringent, medical-device-specific ISO 13485 standard appeared, the company started the auditing process, reports Charles D. Trover, PWC CEO.
“It’s important to us that our customers know we’re singular in our focus of providing the highest-quality wire components, exclusively for the medical-device industry,” says Trover. “With this highly advanced registration, we believe we enhance the value of the customers’ operations by being such a highly qualified supplier.”
PWC has more than 250 employees and is based in Portland, Oregon. For more information, visit www.pwcwire.com.
