Organizers of the Global Six Sigma Summit have received almost 70 entries for the Global Six Sigma Awards. Organizations from India, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Europe and the United States have submitted a total of 65 entries for all 10 award categories and for the Six Sigma Vice President of the Year award. Award categories include Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Manufacturing, Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Service & Transactional Environments, Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Healthcare, Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Financial Services, Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Government & Defense, Best Achievement Integrating Lean and Six Sigma, Best Achievement of Design for Six Sigma, Best Achievement of Innovation through Six Sigma, Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Compliance, and Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Sales & Marketing.

The awards will be presented at the Global Six Sigma Summit, which will be held June 27–30 at The Venetian Resort Hotel in Las Vegas. The summit is being organized by the WCBF.
