Canada’s National Quality Institute recently launched a new certification program. The Leadership Excellence Program Certified Excellence Professional Program will offer certification to quality professionals who have worked in a quality or healthy workplace position. The program has five levels: Levels one through three cover the basics of the quality function, and levels four and five focus on individual leadership competencies and skills in tactical and strategic deployment.

NQI is a Canadian quality-trade organization. It annually administers the Canadian Awards for Excellence, which are comparable to the Baldrige Award.
