A recently released book is the product of the European Foundation for Quality Management’s comprehensive studies of work and European businesses.Above the Clouds (initiated and edited by Hervé Legenvre, Josephine Woolley and Lorraine Mallinder, Greenleaf Publishing, 2006), aims to identify trends that will affect the global workforce over the coming decade. It includes insights from leading CEOs and senior executives from all over Europe. It took two years to produce the detailed research included in the book.

Above the Clouds includes 15 chapters and includes perspectives from professionals in business, academia and the European public. As well as disagreements, there was significant agreement on leadership, outsourcing, global risk, women, age and technology.
