The use of Six Sigma in sales and marketing applications will be the focus of an upcoming WCBF conference. The 3rd annual Six Sigma in Sales and Marketing conference will be held Aug. 23–24 in Chicago. It will include a keynote address entitled “Applying Six Sigma to Sales and Marketing Transactional Functions to Drive Top-Line Growth, Increase Efficiencies, Reduce Costs and Boost Revenues,” by Mike Pestorius, Sanofi Aventis vice president. In the address, Pestorius will discuss how Sanofi Aventis has improved its operations through the widespread use of Six Sigma.
The conference will also feature case studies on lean and Six Sigma in a wide variety of industries, organizational culture change, reengineering the sales commission process through Six Sigma and using Six Sigma to boost sales force efficiency.
