Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications (QuEST Forum) will hold its 7th annual Best Practices Conference in in Durham, North Carolina, this September.
The event will take place at the Durham Marriott at the Civic Center, Sept. 12–13, and presentation topics include quality management disciplines with demonstrated results, TL 9000 global success stories, and delivering best-in-class software. The conference will also include networking opportunities through panel discussions and seminars.
Scheduled speakers include Rod Odom, BellSouth president of network services, who will discuss “Institutionalizing Industrial Engineering, Process Improvement in BellSouth”; and Michele Boulanger, Motorola vice president of quality and digital Six Sigma, who will address “Quality Leadership at Motorola and TL 9000: The Good, The Bad, and The Needed.” Joel Hackney, Nortel senior vice president of global operations, will deliver the keynote address, titled “Building 21st-Century Global Operations.”
